The Palatine Rural Fire Protection District , located in Inverness, Illinois, operates one fire station staffed 24-hours a day with three shifts. Personnel operate an Advance Life Support (ALS) Paramedic Engine, a two-person ALS ambulance, and a 3,200 gallon tanker. Additional resources are available from surrounding communities with intergovernmental auto-aid agreements.

 

Incorporated in 1962, the Village of Inverness comprises an area of approximately 6.5 square miles and has a current population of approximately 6,800. The Village Hall is located at the “Silos” at 1400 Baldwin Road. The office is open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The telephone number is 847-358-7740.
